2024 Emmys: You Might Have Missed Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's Sweet Audience Moment

It was only lovers in the building whenever the camera was on Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco at the 2024 Emmys.
Selena, a first-time nominee for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Only Murders in the Building (but a four-time nominee overall, having been nominated as a producer for Best Comedy Series for every season of the Hulu show so far), brought Blanco with her to the Sept. 15 show.
Beyond stunning in a bling-trimmed black halter dress by Ralph Lauren, Selena didn't pose for photos with her boyfriend (not fiancé), so it wasn't their official red carpet debut as a couple, but they made the most of fancy date night all the same. (See all the gorgeous fashion on the 2024 Emmys red carpet right here.)
And Benny only had eyes for her during a moment you may have missed if you didn't have your eyes glued to the audience between awards.
During some of the reliably hilarious schtick between Emmys hosts Dan Levy and Eugene Levy, Benny appeared to be enjoying the bit and he kept looking back at the similarly amused Selena—perhaps checking to see if she was also having a good time, but perhaps also just to see her smile.
Benny also had his hand resting comfortably on his girlfriend's knee when the camera panned their way.
And here we thought nothing could top Valentine's Day, when Benny went all out.
In addition to renting out a theater for a rewatch of her favorite movie, Almost Famous, he whipped up a retro-fabulous meal.
"I brought a deep fryer—everything—made her fried pickle," he told Howard Stern in May. "I got her all her favorite Taco Bell. She loves Hot Cheetos, I got her Hot Cheetos. And then she loves movie theater nachos, so I brought in the nacho machine."
The sweet couple have been dating for more than a year, and the producer and songwriter hasn't been shy about sharing exactly how he feels about "the hottest chick in the game."
